If you wish to copy your music to a mobile device, you would have to connect it with a cable or bluetooth. QuikIO offers a fast and convenient way of sending any kind of data to iPhones and iPads. You can think of it as Dropbox or other similar applications, but for your iPhone or iPad. The application will automatically stream or synchronize any files you store in certain folders on your hard drive.

QuikIO is free and it can be installed in less than a minute. You can find different setup files for Windows PCs, Mac OS X platforms, as well as iPhones and iPads. The setup wizard will ask you for your name, email address and a new password, for an online account. Once installed, the application will log you in automatically.

The application is set by default to synchronize data from specific locations, like the Library folders, if you are using it on Windows. It works quietly in the background, but you can bring up a tabbed settings panel at any time. Folders that are marked for synchronization are displayed in a list and you can remove them and add new ones.

When you copy one or more files to a synchronization folder, the application will send the data to your iPhone or iPad automatically. It will also convert your media files if necessary. Of course, you must install QuikIO on your mobile devices as well. The application comes with a user interface for iPhones and iPads, on which you can explore and play streamed media files, open synchronized documents and so on. It is also possible to set QuikIO to stream iTunes and AudioGalaxy playlists. Furthermore, you can enable a hardware acceleration feature, for video processing.
